Extra Qualification: CSTF : Care Skills Training Framework. (Large file).My mode of care has always been to encourage the client (friend) going for walks (if possible). I may read to the client if they request or we watch a film. Activity always helps to instil a sense of purpose in the client being cared for. Patience, I have learnt to have and adapting to each client's personality and they get used to mine. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"3"}

BH16 6BP 67760 Hi, my name is Liv, I am 31 years old and have been working within the health and care sector since I was 18. I always knew my career path would lie within healthcare as my passion is helping people and my skills involve communication and my ability to empathise and always put others at the heart of what I do. I started my career as a domiciliary home carer for older adults and those with dementia. I loved this role and did this full time for a year before continuing part time whilst I studied towards my BSc in Psychology which I achieved in July 2014. I then moved to working in a residential home supporting young adults with autism, epilepsy, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours. This role challenged me but I learnt so much and really enjoyed working with people with additional needs. This led me to the last six years which I have spent working within a community learning disability team in the NHS. This role gave me great experience in working with adults with a range of physical and mental illnesses, disabilities and conditions. I have a range of different experiences and qualifications including manual handing, first aid, basic life support, medication management and epilepsy. My hobbies and interests include music, running (I am not the fastest but like to do the distance!) walking my dog, and spending time with family and friends. I am very sociable and chatty and enjoy being around people. I also spent some time recently volunteering as a events first aider for St John Ambulance which involved providing basic life support and other first aid to the public at a range of events including the London marathon and bath rugby games. I believe that every person I work with deserves the best standard of care I can provide, every single day. If you have any questions for me please feel free to get in touch. I am working alongside another role but am happy to consider requests on an individual basis. I have experience with catheter and stoma care but may need a refresher. I am always willing to learn new skills. {"field_care_type_first":"0","field_care_type_second":"0","field_care_type_third":"0","field_care_type_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fifth":"0","field_care_type_sixth":"0","field_care_type_seven":"0"}

DT6 5JE 2183 I enjoy taking care of people/homes/pets and plants and find it very rewarding. I am very calming and friendly and a holistic therapist part time. My experience started out as a live-in carer for a spinal injury care company. I also worked for a care agency, where I cared for a girl with disabilities, there was always 2 carers in this role and we took her to school, administered medication and checked blood and ketone levels. Within this agency, I covered many different care homes and agencies across Bristol. I also supported 2 ladies privately, both had a spinal injury, where I supported with personal care, using a catheter, cooking and a lot of driving. I like driving and I am a very careful driver, I can drive an automatic and a manual car. My preference is home care as I love seeing people so relaxed in their own home. I am also a complementary therapist, so naturally, I am a gentle caring person. I love working with all ages, but particularly fond of the elderly. I used to go into a few care homes in Bristol and offer mini treatments, this is at a dementia home and one of my friends who is like a grandma had dementia. I am a fantastic listener too! I am now back living in Dorset and looking forward to caring for people that need support in this area. I would prefer a minimum of 2 hours + per visit. 2 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"1","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"1","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"0","field_care_type_third":null,"field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"0","field_care_type_fourth":null,"field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"1","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"1","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"0","field_care_type_seven":null}
