I have experience in assisting clients with cognitive impairment. I am unable to drive, but can assist with personal care, bathing ,toileting and dressing and companionship. When working with a new client I prefer to have a 1 week settling in period so that we can get to know each other and then we can discuss the rotation period of anything from 2/3 weeks on 1 week off. When working with clients that require hoisting, each case will be evaluated individually and discussed with the client/clients family member to see if it will be a 1 or 2 carer job. My rates are negotiable depending on the level of care and dependency of the client . Travelling expenses-if travelling expense is £100 or below the client will pay for one way if travelling expense is more than £100 the client will pay for both ways. For bank holidays I will charge one and a half . As an ex nurse I will be able to care for clients holistically as I am used to observing clients and identifying any health problems and speaking to health care professionals As much as I don’t cook restaurant food but I can cook basic meals so clients can have well balanced meals.
