I am available to do long placements of up to 6 weeks. If clients want to trial me out first for a minimum of 2 weeks I would also be available. Secondly, I have skills in some personal care, assisting in washing and bathing, assisting toileting, dressing-undressing, moving and handling- transfers between bed and chairs, working with wheelchair as well, preparing and giving food, dealing with the social work or Gp or with the council either - assisting in doing documents or arranging appointments with health and social care staff, or dealing with elderly dementia, with obsessive compulsive disorder. I have experience working with hard of hearing and deafness. The way I handle it, is patience. Also, I write down notes on paper to them, articulating with my mouth and or speaking louder.
