SP11 6TB 174228 I am an experienced carer with 14 years in healthcare, working in both hospitals and home care settings. I specialise in supporting clients with complex medical needs, ensuring they receive high-quality, person-centred care. I am skilled in assisting with daily living tasks, following care plans, and collaborating with nurses to provide the best possible support. While I am deeply passionate about caregiving, I do not offer live-in care services. Instead, I provide dedicated, scheduled support tailored to each client’s needs. I am also committed to ongoing training and development to enhance my skills and stay current in the healthcare field. Beyond my professional experience, I pride myself on being reliable, patient, and empathetic — always putting the well-being and dignity of those I care for first. In my free time, I enjoy cooking, reading, listening to music, spending time with my family, and researching healthcare topics online. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discuss how I can support you or your loved one. I look forward to connecting with you. 0 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":false,"field_care_type_first":"","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":false,"field_care_type_second":"","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":false,"field_care_type_third":"","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":false,"field_care_type_fourth":"","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":false,"field_care_type_fifth":"","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":false,"field_care_type_sixth":"","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":false,"field_care_type_seven":""}

SP11 6YU 199542 Caring is a profession that has engulfed my family. My mum, aunt, and elder sister are nurses/carer. Therefore, it would not be surprising that I have chosen to continue in this field. Also, my desire for embracing being a Health care Support worker is for the satisfaction derived from affecting people's life. The passion and emotional support for caring for patients is something I grew up with as a child shadowing my mum, aunt and elder sister. It's evident that I have something to give out; thus, I fancy this role as a HSW in this industry. I have built that strong relationship with patients and nurses from my years of working in hospitals, nursing homes etc as a healthcare assistant. It's my goal to put patients first in everything I do, giving them a sense of belonging. I value patients, their families, and staff. Respecting their aspirations and commitments in life is paramount. It's vital that I understand the patient's priorities, limits and abilities; with this, I care for them adequately. I don't compromise the quality of care; this has earned me respect from patients and their families. I compassionately care for patients; I feel their pains, and I don't fail to reassure them consistently. I treat all patients the same without discrimination. Living with my grandmother has also fortified my choice in healthcare. I have been working in hospitals and care homes for years and equipped myself with the necessary required skills to care for adult and young people. I have built my confidence in working under a tight schedule and under pressure. I know healthcare support worker is a stressful job where traumatic situations are frequent, but I have determined to put my dream in front of me. I am obliged to always deliver person-centred care to the patients. Patience is one of the key traits that I hold on to each day. I learnt to communicate clearly and concisely working with adult and young people. Timekeeping is another skill that I learnt working in healthcare. I have learnt to apportion tasks in smaller units and set realistic targets. My communication, timekeeping and organisational skills have also helped me function in a team productively. My tolerance and knowledge derived working in some of the most challenging wards like acute medical units, accident & emergency units and critical care units, put together with all the other skills learnt, make me a stronger support worker. It's beautiful when looking into a patient's eyes and sees the gateway to their soul when only a caring touch or word can make a connection. I like being blessed, and I count my blessings daily for all the patients I have helped gain better health or independence in life. High standard and quality care is what I'm about at all times. 1 1 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":true,"field_care_type_first":"4, 5","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":true,"field_care_type_second":"4, 5","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":true,"field_care_type_third":"4, 5","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":true,"field_care_type_fourth":"4, 5","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":true,"field_care_type_fifth":"4, 5","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":true,"field_care_type_sixth":"4, 5","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":true,"field_care_type_seven":"4, 5"}

I have also ( in that time ) been a live in carer which I also love to do as the one on one interaction is somthing I find very inportant and not only for myself but to know that the clients I care for are very happy content and they feel safe I am a very kind caring compasionate person who can be silly and have a funny sense off humour but also serious and profesional when needed to be. I am a very good listener and love to hear all about the clients should they wish to talk about their lives or any worries and conerns they may have My hobbies include crafts ( although so far i have only got around to watching programmmes about crafts ) but im very keen on any crafts and learning. RG22 5LQ 290830 I'm a 65-year-old male carer, widowed and retired from a career in academia and business consulting, transitioning into care work in 2018. I have worked with a wide range of support needs, including Parkinson’s, stroke, COPD, MS, sepsis, dementia, spinal cord injury, heart surgery and general infirmity. I'm also the author of a nutrition guide and cookbook for carers. My service is highly personalised, with a focus on problem-solving and facilitating as high a quality of life as possible. Am I the right carer for you? To help you decide, you may like to know some specific details about what I can offer and how I work, such as: •  As a male carer, I can attend to all practical and personal needs of male service users. In the case of female service users, it wouldn’t be appropriate for me to provide intimate personal care. However, I’m happy to support ladies with all other needs such as moving and handling, nutrition, companionship and household support. •     I am passionate about preparing healthy, nutritious meals. We will discuss your personal preferences and specific dietary needs and develop a meal plan from there. •     Hoisting: If you require hoisting or other mechanical lifting aids, I can offer experience with a wide range of equipment. In the case of mobile floor-based hoists, safety regulations require that a second trained person is available to assist. This may be another care professional or a suitably trained family member or friend. •     Geographical coverage: I’m happy to support clients in most of England and Wales, up to about 300 miles from my home in the southeast. •     Driving: I have a clean driving licence and full business insurance, and drive a large vehicle in which wheelchairs can easily be carried. I’m more than happy to transport and accompany clients to appointments and social engagements (with the exception of religious services). Mileage is charged at £0.45 per mile for outings and travel between my home and the service user’s address. •     Pets: Unfortunately I am allergic to cats and therefore unable to work in households with them. Other species of pets are no problem. •     Smokers: On the topic of allergies, I’m also allergic to tobacco smoke and therefore unable to work in smokers’ households. •     Night support: If you require support at night, we can discuss the extent and nature of such support, as it may attract fees or a need for additional care personnel. •     How long will I be with you on any given occasion? The duration of support spells is always negotiable, depending on your requirements and my availability at the time. 1 2 {"field_week_day_first":1,"field_is_available_first":"1","field_care_type_first":"3","field_week_day_second":2,"field_is_available_second":"1","field_care_type_second":"3","field_week_day_third":3,"field_is_available_third":"1","field_care_type_third":"3","field_week_day_fourth":4,"field_is_available_fourth":"1","field_care_type_fourth":"3","field_week_day_fifth":5,"field_is_available_fifth":"1","field_care_type_fifth":"3","field_week_day_sixth":6,"field_is_available_six":"1","field_care_type_sixth":"3","field_week_day_seven":7,"field_is_available_seven":"1","field_care_type_seven":"3"}
