I was born and grew up in Lithuania, where all three meals were cooked from scratch, and I keep continue this tradition day-to-day. I enjoy cooking - that's part of my culture and a part of my personality as well. Gardening and reading, traveling and exploring, leaving things better than I find them - these are few of the things you'd like to know before inviting me into your home. I very much enjoy the outdoors: hiking, cycling, yoga, swimming, or just taking random walks. I'm a safe driver, and happy to take your loved one to a Dr. appointment, a walk, to see a friend or a relative, or just pop in a coffee shop for a cuppa. During my career as a carer, I had clients were people with dementia, post stroke (non-verbal and one side paralyzed), Alzheimer's, ADHD and autism. Have over 20 years of experience in total as a carer, here in UK I have worked for 3 years as well as in the US. Also, I was a single mum of two children with ADHD, Asperger's, and oppositional defiant disorder, so I have a first- hand how to navigate through ups and downs. I'm currently available for block hours during the day (2, 4, 8, etc), sleeping night (in Aberdeen or within reasonable distance). I also consider live-in positions in Scotland (reasonable distance), on a week on/ week off basis. Meanwhile, since my children are independent, I have flexibility and do what I enjoy - helping people. Residing in Aberdeen and available on short notice.
